Very easy to order, package arrived within 5 days with everything I needed. System was fairly easy to install and worked very effectively. I found the instructions easy to follow even though it is a bit complicated. I have over 400 metres of boundary fence and the signal is very effective. The collar is simple to program and is good quality construction.

Wow! Where to start? This product has solved all our issues. We have a stubborn husky & have tried everything to stop her escaping. This is the last thing we’ll have to try as she hasn’t escaped since we bought it! Thankfully they have afterpay as well so affordability is amazing. Thanks guys!

We have bred German Shorthaired Pointers for more than 30 years and they are a breed who love to escape and run off chasing birds, cats, wallabies, rabbits etc at any opportunity. We are on 3.5 acres that borders bushland so there are plenty of temptations to escape if you have more than one dog loose at a time. We had been locking our dogs into a small fenced yard, leaving one dog to roam our acreage at a time and rotating them frequently through the day UNTIL we installed the Petsafe Stubborn Dog Fence. We have had the fence installed around the 3.5 acre perimeter for more than 1 year now and wished we had discovered this years ago. We have just purchased and installed a second Petsafe Dog Fence at our daughter's home which is nearly a half acre town block with poor existing fencing, through which her dogs were constantly escaping. The results are great again! I am tempted to buy one next for my parents property too! Minder

The actual Dog Fence product is great. However I think the collars need more thought. They are made from are fairly flimsy material and are not very wide for the size of the casing they hold against the dogs skin. We have had to replace both collars purchased only 3 months ago with stronger shop bought collars that we have altered to put the casing on. Both Labradors have been wearing these newer collars for a couple of months now with no sign of the wear and tear of the original collars. Other than that issue though I would highly recommend the Dog Fence to anyone having trouble containing their dogs. It's good to know when we go to work for the day or to bed at night the dogs are safe and enclosed in our yard, we don't have to start a search party to find them anymore. hi bark control the system is working well since we installed it, she does not wander now, even if we left the gate open. however she has figured out if t=she has her standard collar on she knows it will not shock her. if would be good if the collar supplied in your kit has a tie ring uilt into the battery unit so we don't have to kep changing here collar everyday. the other concern was wire quality- after looking in a electrical supply shop there are sheathed and double insulated wires available for cheaper price than the rolles of yellow wire supplied. if you have a solution for the collar pls let us know and also do you have shorted probes available? our dog has short hair and both the probes supplied seem too long. regards Daniel white boddington

Our husky could climb like a raccoon and a 10 foot high fence wouldn't keep him in. We were at wits end until buying the Petsafe Stubborn Dog Fence. We didn't muck around with the flags and training but just put the collar on. It only buzzed him twiceand he will not go near the fence, even when the collar is not on. We couldn't be more happy with how it worked and now have the peace of mind when we go somewhere that he is nice and safe within his yard. It was worth every cent! The only minor downside is it is a bit touchy in wet weather and it can take a bit of time to find where the connection problem might be. But at least it always lets out an audible alarm to warn you when it is not working. BARK CONTROL WARNING: Training should always be done as you will often have a dog that does not understand where he can and cannot go, which is unfair on the dog. The flags help this. poor performance in wet weather will more than likely be relating to your joins that may not be done properly...like the training! With containment fences it is important to do everything properly!! Minder

I was sceptical that this would work but decided I'd rather try and fail rather than pen my dogs for long periods when I'm not at home. Instalation was easy and I opted for running the wire along the bottom wire of my fence and only underground under the gates. The yard circumference is 500 meters. The dogs breached the warning zone and got zapped on low voltage and returned but the setting was now one point higher. It took three to four zaps to self teach the dogs, at settings of 3 maximum (so two higher levels in reserve). The two German Shepherds will not venture closer that 10 meters, even before the warning zone and even without the collars on. I rarely use the collars now, only for reinforcement but as stated they never venture close to the fence. It is miraculous and my dogs have never been hurt, even when on one occasion the dog rang parallel to the fence to get away and was zapped several times. I have looked after other dogs and used my own collars for the newcomer and same story, three or four zaps and she won't go near the fence. Don't cage your animals, buy this, it really works and is a cheaper alternative. One last thing, when I invite the dogs through, without collars they comply without fear, but wait for my command.
