this is the only black in I use for watercoloring. I use a clear or red rubber stamp and stamp in this black ink then stamp onto a watercolor pad. Water does not bleed so it's perfect. I also use this ink to stamp sentiments. The black is nice and black vs. grayish.

I needed to order a refill right after receiving because it was dry. This was a disappointment as I ordered to make wedding announcements. Just disappointed it was dry from the start.

Archival Black Ink pad dries quickly on the surface. The waterproof element makes it fabulous for layering in mixed media. It's by far my favourite ink pad

I use this permanent stamp pad that doesn't reactivate when I use other supplies like water color paint, distress inks, it will not smear or move. I highly recommend any thing in the Ranger Art Supply line. Michaels has coupons so look online. Ranger Pigment Ink 0.5 oz. reinker bottle, Black Tie [pack of 6]

Exactly as stated. Leaves a fantastic, clear but thin impression of each stamp and doesn't smudge. Dries very quickly and is perfect for using with blending markers or watercolours. The shape of the case makes It easy to put straight back into the lid between stampings. The £6 price tag is pretty close to other retailers and the quality of the ink is worth every penny. I'm beginning to put a lot of faith in Ranger products as every single one I've bought so far has been sheer quality! Another triumph!

You just can't go wrong with Ranger Archival Ink! My favorite black ink is this jet black. It goes on so crisply and clearly, looks very professional when used with stamps with lettering, and embossed well if you wish to do so. Remember, though, this is a PERMANENT ink and will stain your stamps and supplies you use them with. No worries about the black smudging later. Once it's dry, you can use any color and any type of ink on your stamp, even water based. The black will not interfere with any future stamping.
