I decided to use this filter on the B&S engine that powers my Ferris Is600 zero turn. This is the filter the manual calls for. It works. No problems. I'll probably order another the next time I do maintenance.

The only problem I had with this selection is getting the correct model for my dated 42” tractor. The store did not have any reference guide to use as a cross check. Briggs and Stratton are the only reliable parts I will purchasing for my tractor. Removal of old filter and installation of new filter was very simple and fast. Thank for having my part available.

I have bought this filter multiple years for my Lawn mower. Seems to do a good job filtering the oil. Easily screws on and off when replacing each spring when I change the oil.

Changed oil and filter on a neighbor’s Husqvarna lawn tractor. The oil filter was located in an easily accessible location on the side of the B&S engine. Filter was a bit pricey at ten bucks, about the price of a good IPA six pac.

Filter was a no brainer. The push rods, guides and seals were what I needed the most when the exhaust valve stuck and the rocker arms got loose and jammed and bent the push rods. These and other parts I ordered came quickly, packaged fine and the engine is back together and running fine. Thank you.

I guess the oil filter is working fine--I haven't noticed it leaking. Changing the oil on my Husqvarna riding mower is just the biggest pain in the neck. The oil cap is flush with the metal bed and underneath, so more oil flowed out onto the mower than in the plastic drain tube I attached.

I am a widow that bought a riding mower 2 years ago. Was not aware that I needed to change the oil and fuel filter annually. I really love that I can get my filters for such a great bargain. They seem to be really good but I/'' let you all know once I have put one on an used it but they look and feel great . The weight of them seem just right and they look better then the B&S ones I paid a lot more for last time . I will most likely be buying my oil filters from russo from now on and I thank you all very much. Keep up the great work.

This is a genuine B&S factory replacement part at a good price. I will be placing a future order for next seasons filters. They are individually boxed and include a plastic membrane on the sealing surface to keep things clean until installation.

When ever I see a low price for a lot of items I am really cautious in buying it, but I took a chance on these filters. My order was processed really quick and I received the filters quickly and I live in Hawaii. The filters fit well and looks good too. The fitment was good and it appears to be as good as any filter. I compared it to the brand name Briggs & Stratton filter that was on my mower and it looked exactly the same. I would recommend this to a friend.
