I've only used it a few times now and it is a pleasure to use. Coming from cheap $20 box store sprayers it is night and day better. Never used one of the lesser expensive backpack models, so I can't say how it might compare to that, but it does look like for the most part it is build very well and well thought out. It is very comfortable to wear. It would probably be nice to have the belt option but it isn't necessary (I might purchase it later). I do wish it was a bit easier to switch from left to right hand pump option, as this requires one to disassemble things a bit. Enough effort that I won't likely ever use that but I probably don't need to either. I also wish they had used metal fittings in some cases rather than the plastic, but it will probably be fine.

Birchmeier packs are a little pricier than most pump sprayers but are a true example of you get what you pay for. We have used nearly every backpack sprayer made over 20 years of heavy commercial use. None hold up as well as the Birchmeier. Worth the extra cost when youre dependent on them every day to get the job done. Simple to maintain, smooth to operate. If I had one complaint, I wish they still used the round brass tips. The new square brass tips dont seem to spray as tight a pattern but the round tips can still be found at most hardware stores.
